Your new role
As a Building Surveyor, you'll play a key role in supporting senior surveyors and project managers on a variety of assignments. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting with condition surveys, defect diagnosis, and asset management reports.
Supporting dilapidation assessments and party wall matters.
Preparing technical documentation and contributing to contract administration under JCT and NEC frameworks
Working on refurbishment and improvement projects, ensuring compliance with sustainability and safety standards
Liaising with clients and stakeholders to deliver clear, professional adviceThis role offers hands-on experience across multiple sectors, giving you the chance to develop both technical and client-facing skills. You'll be part of a team that values knowledge sharing and encourages innovation.

What you'll need to succeed

A degree in Building Surveying or a closely related discipline
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced professionals
Familiarity with surveying principles such as condition assessments and defect analysis
Knowledge of JCT or NEC contracts (desirable but not essential)
A genuine interest in sustainability and modern building practices
