An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Geoenvironmental Engineer to join a well-established, employee-owned multidisciplinary engineering consultancy.

Based in and around Swindon with a head office in Leeds, this growing business delivers civil, structural and geoenvironmental services across a wide range of developments throughout the UK. The company is recognised for its technical excellence, collaborative culture and commitment to professional development.

The successful Geoenvironmental Engineer will receive a competitive salary (£28,000 - £34,000), ongoing training and career progression, exposure to diverse projects, flexible working arrangements, pension contributions and the opportunity to work within a supportive and forward-thinking team in Swindon.

The Geoenvironmental Engineer role will involve:

Undertaking ground investigation and site inspection work

Logging soil and rock samples to current industry standards

Carrying out groundwater and soil sampling

Producing factual and interpretative reports

Supporting geotechnical assessments and contaminated land investigations

Assisting with remediation strategies and risk assessments

Liaising with clients, contractors and internal teams

Supporting projects from initial site appraisal through to construction phases

To be considered for this Geoenvironmental Engineer position, candidates should ideally have:

A degree in Geology, Engineering Geology or a related discipline

Previous geoenvironmental or geotechnical consultancy experience

Strong report writing and communication skills

A full UK driving licence

Full right to work in the UK

The ability to commute to or live near the office

Knowledge of ground investigation and contaminated land practices
