Job Title: System Administrator

Location: Castle Donington / 1 day on site

Contract Type: 6 months contract with potential to go perm

Job Purpose

To provide systems administration support across the Platforms team systems landscape. The role supports key operational capabilities including contract and project management, safety and audit processes, and where applicable, change control and contract variations.

The successful candidate will ensure accurate administration, documentation, and data management across multiple systems, maintaining timely updates to logs, records, and reporting functions while supporting business continuity and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a key point of contact for systems administration activities across multiple platforms and systems.
Manage licence administration across a range of business systems and platforms.
Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives within the systems administration environment.
Provide cross-functional administrative support across systems covering:
Contract Management
Sustainability
Safety
Quality Management
Support activities including:
Adding NEC contracts into contract management systems
User access management
Group administration
Template creation and amendment in line with business procedures
Monthly user audits
Liaising with product and technical teams to resolve system and process queries
Process and manage Single Sign-On (SSO) account requests for external users.
Maintain and distribute workloads across shared email folders and team-managed systems.
Manage SharePoint access for external users while ensuring compliance with security protocols.
Produce daily and ad hoc system reports as required.
Maintain accurate records, logs, and supporting documentation across all managed systems.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Essential

Strong administrative and organisational skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to follow strict processes and governance procedures.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Customer-focused approach with the ability to support multiple business users.
Experience working within a contractual, commercial, or operational environment.
Competent in Microsoft Office applications and collaboration platforms such as SharePoint.Desirable

Awareness or understanding of NEC contract terminology and contract management processes.
Knowledge of change management processes.
Familiarity with health & safety systems and quality management procedures.
Experience supporting access management or identity management processes including SSO administration.
Experience working within utilities, infrastructure, engineering, or regulated industries
