Are you a Health & Safety professional with construction experience, looking to join an established contractor where safety is a core part of project delivery?

Do you enjoy a varied role supporting site teams, carrying out audits and promoting a positive safety culture across multiple projects?

The company are a long-established, family-run construction company with deep roots in Pembrokeshire, having delivered high-quality building and civil engineering projects across South Wales for four generations.

With a strong heritage built on reliability, craftsmanship and long-standing client relationships, the business operates across sectors including education, healthcare, commercial and public sector developments.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Health & Safety Officer to support and develop company-wide H&S systems, working closely with site teams and management to ensure best practice and compliance.

The Role:

Support the implementation and continuous improvement of Health & Safety systems
Monitor compliance with current legislation and company procedures
Carry out regular site inspections, audits and follow up corrective actions
Assist in the preparation and review of RAMS and safe systems of work
Work closely with site managers and supervisors to promote best practice
Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, supporting RIDDOR reportingThe Person:

NEBOSH General Certificate
Experience in the construction industry
Knowledge of CDM regulationsJob Reference: BBBH25193
