Care Assistant

Location: Lancaster

Salary: £12.71 per hour to £13.00 per hour

Hours: Flexible shifts available (days and nights)
Contract: Casual / Ad Hoc

Rotherwood Cares are recruiting Care Assistants to support a well established care home service in Lancaster. This is a flexible opportunity offering ad hoc shifts across both day and night patterns.

We are seeking compassionate, reliable and experienced care staff who are committed to delivering high quality, person centred care to elderly residents.

Essential Requirements:
• Previous experience in a care home or elderly care setting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Caring and respectful approach to supporting vulnerable adults
• Experience with personal care and moving and handling
• Enhanced DBS preferred or willingness to obtain one
• Right to work in the UK

The Role:
• Providing personal care and support with daily living activities
• Supporting residents with mobility, hygiene and nutrition needs
• Promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing at all times
• Monitoring residents and reporting any changes or concerns
• Supporting social interaction and emotional wellbeing
• Completing accurate daily records and handovers
