Year 3 Primary Teacher - Hatfield - September 2026 start - Full time

A lovely 2 form entry primary school in Hatfield that I am working with are recruiting for a Year 3 primary teacher to join their team in September 2026 on a full-time basis. This is an opportunity to work within a modern school which opened relatively recently in 2012, which means newer facilities, updated resources, and systems that aren't as entrenched or outdated as in older schools - contributing to smoother teaching & giving you more flexibility in how you deliver lessons.

The school was historically Ofsted rated Outstanding, and more recent evidence suggests it is still performing at around a Good standard under the newer system (Ofsted no longer gives a single overall grade for new inspections).

The Role:

Full-time Year 3 primary teacher
Planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Working collaboratively with colleagues, leadership, and parents
Contributing to the wider life of the school communityThe Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 3 experience desirable but not essential)
Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills
Share the school's values and be supportive of its Christian ethos
Be committed to fostering a nurturing and inspiring learning environmentWhat the Hatfield School Offers:

A supportive and collaborative staff team
Opportunities for professional development and career progression
Strong leadership and clear vision
A positive and well-behaved pupil cohort
A welcoming school community with strong values at its coreThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ambitious early career teacher looking to develop within a supportive and values-driven setting.
