Health & Safety Officer

Inspire Resourcing are recruiting a h&S Officer on behalf of our client based in Derbyshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Health & Safety Professional, to join a fantastic business.

Duties:

* With the aid of the H&S Manager the successful candidate will ensure all aspects of Health, Safety are adhered to

* Alongside the H&S Manager they will also work closely with the Site Manager and Operations team to achieve site action plans

* Monitor and report Key Performance Indicators against targets and advise site team of appropriate/necessary actions required

* Liaise with Site Management team in the implementation of sites environmental and safety management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001 etc)

* Implement company policy at all times i.e. compliance with regulations and permits

* Offer guidance and support to the Site Manager and Operations Team

* Attend Monthly H&S meetings with the Site to gain knowledge of current issues affecting the production environment.

* Lead H&S meetings.

* Support the H&S Manager with all aspects of the role.

Requirements:

* ·NEBOSH National General certificate – essential

* NEBOSH Diploma (or working towards) – desirable

* ·Any environmental qualifications – desirable

* IOSH Working Safely – desirable

* National Compliance and Risk Qualifications – desirable
