Front of House Duties & Responsibilities
Open the practice and turn on test room equipment.
Greeting patients/visitors.
Booking appointments and entering patient details in line with the GDPR.
Active diary management including checking upcoming clinics
Ordering contact lenses to Optometrists specifications
Checking deliveries against the order information and spreadsheets.
Preparing paperwork for any contact lens returns.
Telephone patients to advise when their spectacles or contact lenses are ready for collection and remind patients of their upcoming appointments.
Ensuring patient details are kept up to date.
Discuss the benefits of Eyeplan with patients and suggest becoming a member, completing online registration form with patients.
Taking payments for eye examinations, spectacles, contact lenses and sundry items.
Balancing the till at the end of the day and producing appropriate reports.
Dealing with post before the end of each day
Checking & responding to emails sent to the practice email account.
Maintaining a tidy and professional working environment.
Working hours: Monday & Tuesday 08.30-17.30 plus one Saturday each month 08.30-17.00
