Quantity Surveyor required for our engineering client based in Lancashire.

This is a permanent role where you will have experience of working with NEC3 & NEC4 contracts. Salary is negotiable depending on experience plus benefits.

Responsibilities:

Involved in commercial success for projects for contract management and implementation of NEC3 | NEC4 framework contracts

Manage commercially from concept through to delivery for engineering projects and liaise with internal teams to mitigate contractual risks and resolve any disputes

Ensuring compliance, contract provisions, project delivery requirements are all in place

To undertake and lead on preparation, assessments, valuation, and negotiation of variations, claims, and compensation required

Monitoring performance preparing and delivering reports for Senior Management

Promote continuous improvement in commercial processes, especially around NEC and similar contract framework administration

Provide coaching and mentorship where beneficial within the team and staff development plans

Skills and Experience required for the Quantity Surveyor role

Experience in a Quantity Surveyor role in engineering/infrastructure/construction/Civil markets or similar

Degree or Equivalent in a relevant subject – eg Quantity Surveying, Finance, Commercial Management, Construction Management

Candidates with relevant experience without a degree qualification will be consider where there is 5 years + quantity surveying experience in relevant industries
