Our client is a growing structural engineering consultancy based in Birmingham, looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our close-knit team.

The workload is primarily focused on a diverse mix of residential and commercial projects, ranging from domestic alterations and extensions through to multi-unit developments and commercial refurbishments.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys taking ownership of projects, working closely with clients, and being part of a supportive local consultancy where your input genuinely matters.

The Senior Structural Engineer role;

Lead structural engineering projects from concept through to completion
Prepare structural calculations, drawings, and technical reports
Liaise directly with architects, developers, contractors, and clients
Mentor junior engineers and technicians where required
Attend site visits and project meetings across the regionRequirements for this Senior Structural Engineer position;

Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
Several years' experience in a consultancy environment
Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and design standards
Experience working on residential and commercial structures
Proficient with structural analysis and design software
Chartered status or working towards Chartership preferredWhat they can offer;
