Complex Carer/Healthcare Assistant- Children's Care

Location:

Hampshire Wide

Hours:

Day Shifts & Night Shifts, Weekend Shifts available

Pay:

£16.00 per hour (via PAYE)
We are seeking
Support Workers

to provide complex care for children with a range of complex issues, across Hampshire. This rewarding opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact in the life of children working in a supportive, caring environment in a home-based setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality
care

to young children

Be proactive with managing activities & sensory play

Ability to communicate clearly & effectively through verbal & written means.

Strong interpersonal skills, along with empathy

Must have a calm demeanour and a playful personality

Maintain clear and accurate care observation records

Must be able to maintain a high level of personal care

Requirements:

At least a 1 years’ experience working with Children

Proven experience in
Paediatric Complex Care

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the Airmid care team, MDT and family.

Compassionate, empathetic approach to patient-focused care

Experience with Tracheostomy, PEG/NG Feeding, Ventilators, Deep suctioning. (not all essential)

Experience with Learning Disabilities & challenging behaviour
