Freelance Site Manager – Planned Maintenance
📍 White City / Shepherds Bush, West London
💷 £250 – £280 per day CIS
🚗 Must have own car
We are currently looking for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to join a long-term planned maintenance contract in West London for RBKC.
This is a great opportunity to take ownership of a £3m p/a social housing refurbishment programme covering 17 residential blocks (sub 7 storey). The role will suit someone confident managing occupied properties and capable of running projects from validation surveys through to completion.
Scope of Works
* Window replacements and repairs
* Roofing works and associated repairs
* Concrete repairs and structural maintenance
* External refurbishment works
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day operations across multiple occupied residential blocks
* Carry out validation surveys and oversee works through to handover
* Coordinate subcontractors, labour and material deliveries
* Ensure works are completed safely, on programme and to budget
* Maintain high levels of health & safety compliance
* Conduct site inspections, progress meetings and reporting
* Liaise with residents, clients, consultants and internal teams
* Monitor quality, KPIs and site documentation
Requirements
* Proven experience delivering planned maintenance/refurbishment projects within social housing
* Strong knowledge of roofing, windows, concrete repairs and external works
* Experience managing occupied properties
* Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple workstreams effectively
* Full UK driving licence and own car essential
