CNC Turner – Nottingham
We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner to join a well-established manufacturing business in Nottingham. This role involves setting, operating, and programming multi-axis CNC lathes using Fanuc controls within a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Set and operate CNC turning machinery
* Edit and adjust programs as required
* Carry out quality inspections using measuring equipment
* Read and work from engineering drawings
* Support continuous improvement and waste reduction activities
* Work closely with the production team to achieve targets
Requirements
* Previous CNC Turning experience
* Experience with Fanuc controls preferred
* Ability to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances
* Confident using measuring equipment such as micrometers and verniers
* Positive attitude and strong team ethic
Desirable
* Experience working with large components or within heavy manufacturing environments
* Offline programming knowledge advantageous
