📍 Essex (site-based with regional travel when required)

We're looking for an experienced EHS Generalist to support and enhance environmental, health and safety performance across multiple operational sites. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in driving a proactive safety culture within a complex engineering/manufacturing environment.
What you'll be doing:
Supporting the EHS and Facilities teams while advising managers and employees on best practice
Ensuring compliance with UK health, safety and environmental regulations and internal standards
Conducting audits, risk assessments and inspections to identify and reduce hazards
Delivering training and developing EHS materials to support workforce engagement
Monitoring incidents, analysing trends and driving continuous improvement initiatives
Supporting ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 standards and audit readiness
What we're looking for:
NEBOSH General Certificate (essential)
Strong knowledge of UK EHS legislation and compliance requirements
Experience in manufacturing, engineering or industrial environments
Understanding of COSHH and waste management practices
Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage a varied workload
