Tradewind Recruitment are working with an Ofsted Outstanding secondary school close to Central Birmingham that is seeking to appoint a History Teacher for a temporary role starting in September 2026 until Christmas 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced teacher or an ECT to join a successful Humanities department within a supportive and well-led school environment.
The Role
The successful candidate will teach History across KS3 and KS4 and play an active role within the wider Humanities team.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging History lessons that support student progress
Assess, monitor, and track student achievement effectively
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning
Contribute to departmental planning and school activities where required
