TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming Primary School in Tredegar, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant. The school provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential, while staff are valued and supported throughout their roles.
The school is looking to take on a Level 2 Teaching Assistant on a full-time long-term basis from September 2026. The successful Level 2 Teaching Assistant will be working on a 1:1 basis supporting a young boy with Autism / ASD, helping to engage him in classroom activities, providing emotional support and adapting approaches to meet his individual needs.
The successful Level 2 Teaching Assistant will have:
Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
Experience supporting children with Autism / ASD
Experience working on a 1:1 basis within a school setting
A patient, nurturing and hands-on approach
Strong communication skills
The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
