The Opportunity
Our client is currently seeking an enthusiastic Junior Sous Chef to support their kitchen operation. This role would suit someone with solid kitchen experience who is passionate about food, keen to contribute ideas, and eager to further develop their culinary career in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Head Chef and senior kitchen team in daily operations
Prepare and deliver fresh, high-quality dishes using local produce
Maintain excellent standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness
Assist with menu development and seasonal specials
Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation
Support stock management and minimise waste
Contribute positively to a collaborative kitchen culture Candidate Profile
Previous experience in a professional kitchen setting
Passion for fresh food and local ingredients
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Positive, hardworking attitude
Desire to learn, grow, and take on greater responsibility
