Job Title: Electrical Project Manager
Location: London
Rate: £280/day (Equivalent £68K–£73K)
The Role:
*
Lead delivery of electrical packages on commercial Cat A & Cat B fit-out projects (£150k–£2m+).
*
Manage full project lifecycle including design coordination, procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover.
*
Develop and maintain project programmes, ensuring milestones are achieved.
*
Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, architects, and MEP teams.
*
Oversee site operations ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and BS 7671 regulations.
*
Manage procurement of materials and subcontractors.
*
Monitor budgets, forecasts, and cost performance.
*
Manage variations and support valuations and applications for payment.
*
Identify and mitigate project risks.
*
Attend and lead client and progress meetings.
*
Act as main client-facing representative throughout delivery.
*
Ensure RAMS and site safety documentation are compliant.
*
Carry out site inspections and ensure CDM 2015 compliance.
*
Provide technical support to clients and project teams.
*
Ensure quality control and continuous improvement.

The Ideal Candidate:
*
Electrical Project Manager experience on commercial fit-out projects.
*
Experience delivering projects £500k+.
*
Strong knowledge of electrical building services installations.
*
17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
*
SMSTS and ECS Gold/Black Card (or equivalent).
*
Strong commercial awareness including variations and cost control.
*
Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
*
Competent with Microsoft Project or similar tools.
*
Able to manage multiple deadlines under pressure.
*
Willing to travel across London daily
