Job Title: Supply Chain Assistant (Goods In & Shipping)
Location: Whetstone
Salary: £24,784.50 – £28,000 (depending on experience) + bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30am – 4:30pm (37.5 hours, 30-minute unpaid break)
About the Role
Our client is looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join their Supply Chain team in Whetstone. This role focuses on goods receiving, stock control, and shipping, with full training provided.
You’ll play a key part in ensuring materials are handled carefully, tracked accurately, and prepared to meet customer requirements. This is a hands-on, varied role within a supportive and high-performing team.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Receiving finished goods into the ERP system
* Carefully handling and storing materials
* Preparing and packing orders for dispatch
* Creating customer documentation (full training provided)
* Arranging courier collections (UPS, FedEx, etc.)
* Supporting stock control and regular stock checks
* Maintaining accurate records and traceability
* Assisting with goods in, work order release, and general stores duties
* Supporting customs clearance processes (training provided)
What We’re Looking For
Our client is more interested in attitude than experience. The ideal candidate will be:
* Detail-oriented with a careful approach to handling products
* Reliable, dependable, and committed
* A strong team player with a positive attitude
* Willing to learn and develop within the role
* Confident in their ability to become more independent over time
Experience in supply chain, warehousing, or ERP systems is beneficial but not essential.
Training & Development
* Full training provided from day one
* Initial shadowing and gradual responsibility
* Expected to build confidence and show progression within 3 months
* Full role understanding typically achieved within 6 months
The Team & Environment
You’ll be working within a highly regarded stores team known for high standards and a strong team ethic. The environment can be fast-paced, but also offers autonomy and trust once established in the role.
