ELECTRICAL TESTER - Central Birmingham - £25.41 per hour PAYE

VGC Group are looking for experienced Electrical Testers to start on a project in Central Birmingham. This contract is available to start ASAP and we can offer up to 2 years worth of work to a successful candidate.

Experienced Electrical Tester with suitable testing and maintenance experience.

Your role as an Electrical Tester will be based in Central Birmingham and will consist of:

- Carrying out periodic inspections, PAT testing, and maintenance of BBV power tools and equipment.
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out small repairs on electrical tools and equipment where required.
- Managing the allocation, tracking, and return of tools and equipment across site operations.
- Maintaining accurate records using live file systems/software and ensuring all inventory information is kept up to date.
- Admitting tools and equipment for repair and coordinating their return to site efficiently.
- Working proactively with site teams and management to ensure tools and equipment remain compliant, safe, and operational at all times.
- Supporting the management of a small stores/workshop environment, ensuring equipment is organised and maintained correctly.
- Using computer systems and email communication effectively to support reporting and day-to-day operations.
- Working safely and efficiently in accordance with site safety rules and company procedures.

Based in Central Birmingham remuneration for this role is £25.41 per hour PAYE, you will accrue holiday entitlement and be eligible to join the VGC pension scheme once certain criteria have been met.
