We are currently recruiting caring, dedicated, and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join supportive primary schools across Gravesend, Kent for a full-time position starting in September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and helping them thrive both academically and socially within an inclusive school environment.
The Role:
Providing one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN
Supporting children with needs including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH
Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
Encouraging positive behaviour and classroom participation
Helping pupils build confidence, independence, and social skills
Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to support pupil progressRequirements:
Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable
Experience supporting SEN pupils is advantageous
A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)What We Offer:
