The Role

As Senior Health & Safety Manager, you will:

Lead the development and continuous improvement of Health & Safety systems, policies, and procedures
Promote a positive, proactive safety culture across all departments
Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments, ensuring effective corrective actions are implemented
Deliver training, coaching, and guidance to managers and employees
Investigate incidents and implement preventative measures and lessons learned
Ensure compliance with all relevant Health & Safety legislation and industry best practice
Work closely with senior leadership to drive engagement and continuous improvement initiatives
Act as the key point of contact for regulatory bodies and external audits

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in a senior Health & Safety leadership role within engineering, manufacturing, or industrial environments
Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence and engage teams at all levels
Someone who understands that effective Health & Safety is about culture, behaviours, and leadership - not just paperwork
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Health & Safety qualification
A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong organisational skills

Salary & Benefits

Salary up to £55,000 depending on experience
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
Contributory pension scheme
On-site parking
Subsidised canteen
Monday to Friday working hours
8:00am - 4:00pm
