AD Plant Operator – East Anglia – Salary DOE
A well-established agricultural and renewable energy business based in East Anglia is looking to recruit an AD Plant Operator to join their expanding operation.
This is a hands-on position supporting the day-to-day running of a busy anaerobic digestion plant, including feeding, monitoring, maintenance, and ensuring the site operates safely and efficiently.
The Role:
* Monitoring plant performance and reporting findings to management
* Accurate feeding and operation of the AD plant
* Carrying out routine plant maintenance and basic repairs
* Monitoring plant health and overall efficiency
* Supporting the wider operations team to achieve daily targets
* Participating in on-call duties when required
* Maintaining high standards of health & safety and site compliance
* Assisting with pest control and general site upkeep
The Candidate:
* Previous experience within AD plants, farming, machinery operation, engineering, or a similar environment
* NVQ Level 2 or above within a relevant sector is essential
* Practical and mechanically minded
* Able to work independently as well as part of a team
* Good attention to detail and strong awareness of health & safety
* Flexible attitude towards working hours and operational requirements
