Finance Admin - Utilities

Rate of pay: £15.69 PAYE or £19.83 Umbrella per hour
Job Type: Part-time (3 days per week)
Location: Fully remote until 20/07/2026 with possible extensionWe are seeking a Finance Admin - Utilities to join a Sustainability and Climate team. This role is crucial for ensuring all financial processes are in place for timely payment of utility bills and for working towards reducing utility account debt.

Day-to-day of the role:

Ensure timely and accurate processing of utility bills.
Create and issue recharge invoices accurately and efficiently.
Process incoming credit notes from utility suppliers in accordance with internal processes.
Collaborate with utility suppliers to ensure site charges on invoices are accurate.
Review utility invoices for accuracy and raise issues with providers to resolve discrepancies.
Assist in adding new sites to the utility framework correctly.
Work with various teams to gather utility meter reads and share them with the provider.Required Skills & Qualifications:

Familiarity with utility invoices and billing structures.
Previous experience in computerised processing of financial transactions.
Good basic qualifications, including 4 GCSE passes with English and Maths.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
