Location: Peterborough
Salary: £40,000 per annum + overtime
Start Date: June 2026
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 4:00pm, Friday 7:30am - 12:00pm (39 hours per week)
We are recruiting for a Site Manager to oversee on-site fluid management operations at a customer facility in Peterborough. This is a hands-on position suited to someone with experience within a mechanical, chemical, manufacturing or production environment.
The successful candidate will lead a team of 3-4 people, manage day-to-day fluid management activities, and ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing all fluid management service activities on site
Supervising and allocating work to the on-site team
Applying and changing lubricants and fluids in line with planned maintenance schedules
Carrying out coolant and wash cleanouts
Monitoring fluid conditions and plant equipment performance using the company's in-house reporting system
Managing fluid waste streams and ensuring safe disposal processes are followed
Liaising with the customer and attending operational meetings
Ensuring all Health & Safety procedures, site practices and 5S standards are followed
Requirements:
Experience working within a mechanical, chemical, manufacturing or production environment
Previous supervisory or team leadership experience would be beneficial
Hands-on approach with the ability to work independently
Flexible and adaptable attitude
Strong organisational and communication skills
