Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant - Chesterfield
Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for flexible supply and long-term opportunities across Chesterfield primary schools?
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to support children with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) within mainstream primary settings across Chesterfield.
The role will involve supporting pupils with needs such as:
Autism (ASC)
ADHD
Moderate learning difficulties
Social, emotional, and behavioural needsYou may be working on a 1:1 basis with individual pupils or supporting small intervention groups, helping children to access learning and reach their full potential.
Requirements:
Previous experience supporting children with SEND is essential
Experience within a primary school setting is highly desirable
A caring, patient, and adaptable approach
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
Team Teach training would be an advantage, but is not essential
No specific qualification is required - experience and the right attitude are more important
