Job Description

We currently have an opportunity for a Production Line Leader at our site in Desborough, this is a key role ensuring that the Production Line maximises utilisation and the production lines to ensure safe, efficient operation, meeting daily targets and quality standards

The role is a permanent full time role working Monday to Friday rotating shifts (06:00 - 14:00 and 14:00 - 22:00)

Salary: £31,398.96

Reporting and communicating all issues affecting Production effectively.
Ensuring that all finished products and donor stocks always maintain their traceability and in accordance with the Culina IPS Production and Quality Procedures
Effectively motivating a team of people to meet production targets.
Ensuring the final product meets client specifications (SPI)
Effectively maximising production efficiency, to ensure plans are met on a hourly/daily basis
Adhering to and promoting best practice in accordance with company health, safety, and quality regulations
Ensuring all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company procedures.
Assisting in developing a skills matrix for all production workers
Assisting in training and development of new starters
Monitoring, controlling and minimising waste.

Qualifications

Ability to communicate in a positive and clear manner.
Knowledge of company procedures and actively demonstrates compliance.
Able to positively lead a team of people (temporary labour)
Recognises and promotes the importance of continuous improvement.
Displays a positive attitude to change
Develops best practice and drives continuous improvement in all aspects of performance.
Experience of working in a customer-led environment with changing priorities
Experience of manufacturing machinery and processes
Preferably food or packing experience
