Our client, a well-established manufacturing company based in the Medway Towns, are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for maintaining and improving injection moulding machinery and site equipment, helping to minimise downtime and ensure efficient production operations. The position offers a great work-life balance, working a 4-day week, Monday to Thursday, with 10-hour day shifts and no weekend working.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment
Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults
Support continuous improvement and equipment upgrades
Work closely with production to ensure smooth operations
What We're Looking For
Proven maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment (ideally plastics/injection moulding)
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation systems
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
