Mechanical Project Manager – Residential
Ealing
Salary: £85,000 or £400pd
We are currently working with a leading M&E contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to deliver a major residential development in Ealing.
The project consists of a £9m mechanical package on a large-scale residential scheme, offering a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established contractor with a strong pipeline of work across London.
The Role:
As Mechanical Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the mechanical delivery of the project from installation through to commissioning and handover. You will work closely with the site team, commercial department and client representatives to ensure the project is delivered safely, on programme and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing the full mechanical package on a large residential development
* Coordinating subcontractors, labour and materials on site
* Managing programme delivery and ensuring key milestones are achieved
* Chairing site meetings and liaising with the main contractor and client team
* Overseeing QA, commissioning and handover processes
* Monitoring health & safety compliance across site activities
* Managing procurement and tracking project progress
* Producing regular progress reports and updates for senior management
* Working closely with commercial teams to manage variations and project costs
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within residential or large-scale M&E projects
* Previous experience delivering mechanical packages valued £5m+
* Strong knowledge of HVAC, public health and mechanical building services systems
* Excellent communication and client-facing skills
* Ability to manage fast-paced construction programmes
* SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid desirable
