Security Systems Engineer

Location: Wolverhampton (covering West Midlands, Staffordshire & Warwickshire)
Salary: £30,000 – £38,500 per annum (DOE)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

An established and growing security systems business is looking for an experienced Security Systems Engineer to join their expanding team.

This is a hands-on role involving the installation, servicing, and maintenance of CCTV, ANPR, Access Control, Intruder Alarms, and WiFi systems across commercial client sites.

Key Responsibilities

* Install, maintain and service CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarm & WiFi systems

* Carry out fault finding, repairs, and system upgrades

* Attend service and reactive call-outs

* Work with IP-based systems and basic networking

* Provide professional, customer-focused service on-site

Requirements

* Experience in CCTV, intruder alarms, access control or similar systems

* Basic IP/networking knowledge (preferred)

* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability

* Full UK Driving Licence (essential)

* Reliable, flexible with good communication skills

Successful candidates will be subject to DBS and background checks (SSAIB requirement).

What’s on Offer

* £30,000 – £38,500 DOE

* Travel time paid (minus first 30 mins each way)

* Overtime and call-out rota

* 24 days holiday + bank holidays (rising to 28 days)
