Our client i a growing structural engineering consultancy based in Swansea, delivering a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, education, and industrial projects throughout Wales. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a talented and motivated Structural CAD Technician to join a friendly and collaborative team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who enjoys working on varied projects and wants to develop their career within a supportive consultancy environment.

The Structural CAD Technician role;

You will work closely with structural engineers and project teams to produce accurate and high-quality technical drawings across a range of building structures.

Key responsibilities include:

Producing structural drawings using AutoCAD
Preparing GA drawings, detailing, and construction information
Assisting engineers with drawing coordination and revisions
Working on projects involving steel, reinforced concrete, timber, and masonry structures
Coordinating drawings with architects and external consultants
Maintaining drawing standards and project documentation
Supporting project delivery to agreed timescalesAbout You

The ideal candidate will have:

Experience working as a Structural CAD Technician within an engineering consultancy
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
Good understanding of structural engineering drawings and detailing
Experience working on building structures projects
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of Revit would be beneficial but not essentialWhat's on offer:
