Production Operative (FLT)

Belmont Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Production Operative for a temporary to permanent assignment based in Solihull. This is a full-time position working 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for weekend overtime. The role offers a structured shift pattern and the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The shift pattern is as follows:

* Monday to Thursday: 12:30pm – 10:00pm

* Friday: 10:30am – 8:00pm

Main Duties:

* Operate machinery and plant equipment within a production environment

* Carry out general production operative duties as required

* Complete quality and statutory checks and report any defects

* Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the site

* Accurately complete all required paperwork and production records

* Safely operate forklift trucks and other mobile plant equipment

* Support overall site efficiency and production targets

Essential Criteria:

* Previous experience in a production, manufacturing or warehouse environment

* Valid FLT licence is essential

* Experience operating forklift trucks and/or mobile plant equipment

* Ability to carry out quality checks and follow procedures accurately

* Good attention to detail and ability to complete paperwork correctly

* Strong understanding of health and safety within a production setting

* Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively as part of a team
