CNC Milling Programmer / Setter / Operator – Precision Engineering
Location: Abingdon
Salary: Circa 45K - 50K + Benefits
CNC Milling Programmer / Setter / Operator required by established, high-tech Manufacturing Company specialising in complex precision engineered components for highly regulated industries
This is a technically challenging role where you’ll be programming, setting and operating advanced CNC milling machines producing large, complex components to extremely tight tolerances. You’ll be working on high-specification precision engineering projects across sectors including nuclear, medical and semi-conductors within a modern, quality-driven manufacturing environment
Essential:
* Strong background programming, setting and operating CNC Milling machines
* Experience with 3, 4 & 5 Axis CNC machining
* Good knowledge of Heidenhain controls
* Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
* Experience producing components to tight tolerances
* Able to work independently and take responsibility for own quality
Nice-to-have:
* Experience with Fanuc controls
* Previous experience with Doosan, Matsuura or Mazak machines
* Experience machining large components
* Overhead crane / manual handling training
