Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
Salary: £30,(Apply online only) – £45,(Apply online only) DOE
Lobster Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable automotive business based in Trentham Lakes for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join their growing workshop team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled automotive professional looking to work in a modern and fast-paced service environment where quality workmanship and customer satisfaction are highly valued.
The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of mechanical, servicing, and diagnostic duties across passenger and light commercial vehicles.
Main Duties
Carrying out routine servicing and mechanical repairs
Diagnosing vehicle faults using modern diagnostic equipment
Completing maintenance work to a high standard
Undertaking MOT testing where qualified
Performing vehicle inspections and health checks
Accurately completing workshop paperwork and service records
Working closely with other technicians and workshop staff to ensure deadlines are met
Ensuring all work is completed in line with manufacturer and safety standards
Working Hours
Monday to Friday – 08:30am to 5:00pm
Overtime available when required
Saturday morning rota on occasion
About You
To be considered for this role, applicants should have:
At least 2 years’ experience within a similar Vehicle Technician or Mechanic position
NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent qualification
A full UK driving licence
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities
Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
A reliable and professional approach to work
