Requirements

Minimum 3 years’ experience in Residential Childcare
At least 1 year’s supervisory experience within a care setting
Level 5 qualification in Leadership & Management (or willingness to work towards)
Previous management experience with strong team leadership skills

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the children’s home
Ensure high standards of care in line with legislation, Ofsted requirements, and best practice
Create a safe, positive, and nurturing environment for young people
Develop and oversee individual care plans focused on emotional and behavioural development
Lead, support, and develop the residential care team through supervision and performance management
Build positive relationships with children, families, and external professionals
Manage budgets and resources effectively
Maintain accurate records and reporting systems
