The school is currently recruiting for a brand-new SEN Resource Base opening in September. This provision will support pupils with a range of special educational needs and provide a nurturing environment tailored to individual learning and developmental needs.
Responsibilities:
Supporting pupils with SEN on both a 1:1 and small group basis
Assisting students with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and additional learning needs
Supporting behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support pupil progress
Helping to create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment
Supporting pupils with both academic and social developmentRequirements:
Strong behaviour management skills
Previous SEN experience working with children with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and additional needs
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Available to start in September
Able to provide referencesThis role is subject to safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references, in line with safeguarding and child protection guidelines.
