Key Responsibilities
* Manage rent accounts and monitor arrears across a designated patch
* Proactively contact residents to prevent and reduce arrears
* Negotiate realistic repayment plans based on individual circumstances
* Provide advice and signpost to support services (e.g. welfare benefits, debt advice)
* Take appropriate recovery action, including legal proceedings where necessary
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory standards
* Work collaboratively with housing, support, and finance teams
About You
* Experience in income management, rent arrears recovery, or a similar role
* Strong understanding of welfare benefits and the social housing sector
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to manage a caseload and prioritise effectively
* Confident using housing management systems and Microsoft Office
* A customer-focused mindset with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally
