Senior Acoustic Consultant
Location: Bristol, remote working available
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (DOE)

A well-established UK consultancy operating across the built environment is looking to appoint a Senior Acoustic Consultant to support a growing project pipeline.
This role would suit someone looking to take the next step in their career, with greater ownership of projects while continuing to develop technically within a collaborative team.
The Role
You’ll be working across a varied portfolio including residential, education, healthcare and commercial developments, delivering both building and environmental acoustics work.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing acoustic projects from initial brief through to completion
Undertaking environmental noise assessments and acoustic design work
Carrying out noise surveys and site-based testing when required
Producing technical reports and supporting junior team members
Liaising directly with clients, architects and design teamsAbout You
Degree (or equivalent) in Acoustics or a related STEM subject (with Acoustics specialism)
Membership of the Institute of Acoustics (or working towards)
Experience in building and/or environmental acoustics
Familiar with standards such as BS 4142 and planning-related noise assessments
Strong report writing and client communication skills
Full UK driving licenceDesirable
Experience with sound insulation testing
Familiarity with CadnaA or similar modelling software
Exposure to BREEAM assessments (Hea 05 / Pol 05)What’s on Offer
