MTrec’s New Opportunity:
* MTrec are currently recruiting for a renowned and respected manufacturing company based in the Trimdon area. MTrec are currently looking for proactive individuals who are looking for an ongoing position.
The Role:
* Attending start of shift briefings to receive targets for the day
* Assembly - Fixing and assembling small components for the rail and transport sector
* Fitting nuts, washers and bolts
* Use of glue guns
* Apply adhesives accurately to panel surfaces
* Fit aluminium and plastic rails to panels using hand tools and fixtures
* Use clamping tools to secure components during the bonding process
* Pack finished products carefully for dispatch, following packing guidelines
* Use of different hand and power tools
* Carrying out visual quality checks of products, reporting defects to team leaders / supervisor
* General housekeeping duties and additional duties as and when required
* Strict adherence to health and safety standards
* Keeping the work area tidy, by sweeping and emptying bins if needed
The Person:
* Familiar with hand tools
* Must have excellent attention to detail
* Previous experience in a fast-paced production environment
* Ability to follow instructions and work to quality standards
* Physically fit as some products are heavy
* Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn new skills
* A team player with a positive, proactive attitude
