Then get in touch! Kingston Barnes is recruiting a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for one of our clients in Gainsborough. Our client is a leading manufacturer in the FMCG industry, supplying their products to multiple other manufacturers.
The Role:
As part of the maintenance team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring plant availability and production efficiency through proactive maintenance and swift resolution of technical challenges. Responsibilities include:
* Perform planned preventive and reactive maintenance on state-of-the-art machinery
* Uphold health and safety standards, conducting risk assessments and implementing effective controls.
* Troubleshoot equipment issues, minimize downtime, and contribute to improvement projects.
* Maintain detailed records, including PM sheets and system logs, to support seamless operations.
The Candidate:
* A strong engineering background (HNC, City & Guilds, or time-served apprenticeship)
* Proven experience in maintenance within a manufacturing setting, preferably in food production.
* Electrically biased with exposure to hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
* A flexible approach and a collaborative, solution-focused mindset.
* Familiarity with SAP systems (desirable)
Salary/Benefits
* £51,623 including shift allowance.
* Matched pension contributions up to 10%.
* Life assurance 6x your salary.
* 25 days of leave plus shutdown on Christmas, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day.
* 4-on, 4-off shifts (6 am – 6 pm, 2 days, followed by 2 nights)
