RCMA Agricultural Storage Ltd provide seamless supply-chain integration for our customers from combine to the end user through our strategically positioned grain storage facility in Stratford Upon Avon, Warwickshire.
The Role
To contribute to the smooth running of the Grain Store operations at RCMA Agricultural Storage Ltd and ensure that the handling and storage of grain is undertaken in an appropriate and effective manner. This role is a permanent full-time position, 40 hours per week with some additional hours and occasional weekends.
What could you be doing?
* Monitor and safely control grain movements on site.
* Monitor grain in silos and Flat Stores including temperature / contamination / quality / insects.
* Understand specifications of arable crop varieties and have a sound knowledge of contract requirements.
* Undertake stock level checks.
* Undertake Loading and Unloading activities to required specifications.
* Operate the grain driers safely and efficiently.
The skills and competence you will need:
You will be a strong team player and a great communicator bringing a flexible approach to work. Happy to work as part of a team that has a strong health and safety culture. An understanding of grain store drying requirements is very desirable.
This is a physical role and the successful candidate must be confident working at height and in confined spaces. (Full training will be given).
