Plumber – (Permanent Role)Van & Fuel Card Provided
Build Recruitment are looking for an experienced Plumber to join a leading social housing company on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well-established organisation offering long-term stability, excellent benefits, and ongoing support.
The RoleYou will be responsible for carrying out reactive maintenance and planned works across social housing properties, ensuring all jobs are completed to a high standard while delivering excellent customer service to residents.
Day-to-Day Duties
Carrying out plumbing repairs and maintenance in occupied and void social housing properties
Diagnosing and repairing leaks, blockages, and pipework
Installing and repairing sanitary ware (toilets, basins, sinks, baths)
Working on hot and cold-water systems
Completing minor bathroom and kitchen plumbing works
Ensuring all work complies with health & safety regulations
Accurately completing job reports via PDA/handheld device
Providing a professional and courteous service to tenants at all timesWhat We’re Looking For
Proven experience working as a plumber, ideally within social housing or domestic maintenance
Full UK manual driving licence
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage your own workloadWhat’s on Offer
