Job Title: Quality Inspector

Location: Stonehouse

Hours: 7.30am - 4.30pm Mon to Thurs, 7.30am - 12.30pm Friday

Salary: £30,000

Key Responsibilities of a Quality Inspector:

* Perform first-off inspections and complete first article reports in line with customer and internal requirements

* Carry out in-process and final inspections against engineering drawings and specifications

* Conduct incoming goods inspection

* Use a range of inspection equipment and guages

* Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation

* Identify and report non-conforming products in line with procedures

* Support root cause analysis and corrective action activities

* Ensure all equipment is within calibration prior to use

* Maintain a clean, organised inspection area

* Support internal audits, 5S activities and continuous improvement initiatives

Key Skills of a Quality Inspector:

* Previous experience in a manufacturing or precision engineering environment

* Experience using inspection devices and guages

* High level of attention to detail and accuracy

* Able to work independently and as part of a team

* Willingness to learn and develop skills in an inspection department

* Good communication skills, both written and verbal

* IT literate with experience completing electronic inspection reports
