Daily Rate: £162 - £251 per day (MPS/UPS, dependent on experience)
Start Date: 01/09/2026
Contract: Long Term to Permanent

Long Term Futures are proud to be working with a welcoming and inclusive one-form entry mainstream primary school in Bartley Green, Birmingham. We are seeking a committed SEN Teacher to join their supportive team, working with pupils across the primary age range who require additional support to access learning and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Teach and support pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 with a range of additional needs.
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs, including SEMH, ASD, SLCN, cognition & learning difficulties, and behavioural needs.
Implement effective and consistent behaviour management strategies.
Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, Senior Leadership Team, parents/carers, and external agencies.
Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress, contributing to EHCP reviews and SEN support planning.
Create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment that enables every child to thrive.
What the School is Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with ECT induction completed.
Experience teaching across the primary curriculum.
Strong understanding of adapting teaching and provision for pupils with SEN.
Excellent classroom management skills and emotional resilience.
TeamTeach, MAPA, or trauma-informed training would be advantageous.
Flexible, proactive, and collaborative approach to teaching and learning.
