Quality Manager - Fareham - Electronics / Automotive
We are currently recruiting for a Quality Manager to join an innovative technology company based in Fareham. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving and developing quality systems within a growing business focused on cutting-edge hardware, software and firmware products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and develop the company’s Quality Assurance systems alongside the engineering team
* Act as the lead contact for QA-related customer activities including pre-sales support, certifications, production quality and failure analysis
* Support audits, management reviews and customer feedback processes, ensuring actions are completed effectively
* Maintain and improve the Business Management System and associated documentation
* Prepare and manage internal and external audit schedules
* Create, revise and maintain procedures, forms and work instructions
* Prepare quality documentation, reports and statistical analysis
Skills & Experience Required:
* Degree qualified in Engineering, Electronics, Physics, Computer Science or a related technical discipline
* ISO 9001 accreditation and strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems
* Experience implementing and developing quality or business management systems
* Proven experience leading internal and external QA audits
* ISO 9001 internal auditor accreditation
* Strong documentation, reporting and communication skills
* Ability to analyse data and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Location: Southampton
Salary: Up to £65k
