Location: Manchester (Hybrid with site visits)

We are supporting a growing engineering team delivering geotechnical and ground engineering services across a range of infrastructure and civil engineering projects throughout the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer looking to take a lead role across technical delivery, project management, and team support activities.

What You'll Be Doing

- Leading geotechnical studies and technical assessments

- Managing and mentoring junior geotechnical engineers

- Supporting feasibility studies, site assessments, and project delivery

- Reviewing and interpreting ground investigation data and reports

- Managing ground investigation scopes and contractor coordination

- Supporting foundation, retaining structure, and ground stability assessments

- Providing technical advice during design and construction phases

- Supporting project scheduling, reporting, and commercial activities

- Liaising with multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams

What Makes You a Great Fit

- Strong geotechnical engineering experience within infrastructure or civil engineering sectors

- Experience managing technical studies and project delivery

- Understanding of ground investigations, geotechnical reporting, and foundation solutions

- Knowledge of construction methods and ground risk management

- Experience mentoring or managing junior engineers

- Strong communication and technical reporting capability

- Chartered or working toward chartership preferred
