We now have an exciting opportunity to join one of the South West's leading employers as a Leakage Systems Manager to join our team based in Exeter and covering our operational area.
[b]What will you be doing?[/b]
As a Leakage Systems Manager, you will manage detection and repair activity related to SWW's commitment to reduce leakage on customer supply pipes and to provide support and resources to enable the Water Efficiency team in achieving reductions to Per Capita Consumption across the region.
This role will be a blend of process development, financial governance and technical authority in the management and reduction of customer supply pipe leakage, working closely with internal and external managers and resource / repair contractors.
You will ensure information and data related to supply pipe leakage is accurately recorded to enable development of an economic assessment of supply pipe detection and repair for incorporation into PR24 activity.
The Leakage Detection Manager will also be instrumental in helping to develop a successful process for in-home water efficiency audits, implementing and analysing various strategies to identify efficient methods of engagement with customers to encourage and promote the conscientious use of water in daily life.
[b]You will be required to take part in the Operations Duty Functional Manager Standby Rotation.[/b]
[b]What do you need?[/b]
*Good understanding of leak detection and repair techniques on water networks*Experience in the Water Industry, preferably in the field of leakage detection and management*Experience in leading a team and meeting challenging targets.*Producing and delivering project plans aligned to operational strategies*Wide reaching knowledge of leakage including understanding of the water balance, economic assessments, industry best practice, reporting guidelines and key industry stakeholders*Adaptable planning skills to ensure resources are managed effectively to deliver efficient outcomes*Able to cope with pressurised environments*An accomplished manager with a track record of delivering objectives on time and on budget*IOSH, Health & Safety Qualifications would be beneficial*Full UK Driving Licence
