We are looking for a Learning Solutions Sales Specialist to manage the internal L&D contract for a large IT Services Integrator which involves providing training services and administration support via the contract and booking system to all internal employees.

You will manage their Preferred Supplier List and work with their L&D team to offer a flexible and relevant service for the training and learning needs of each department.

In addition you will need to proactively sell new training services and products into L&D and to senior management across all areas of the business, with a strong emphasis in developing new digital learning services and evaluation with full reviews and MI reporting.

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Manage the L&D contract for core QA services, Preferred Supplier List and new Third party providers
  • Provide a flexible and relevant service to meet their needs across all business areas for all IT and PD learning requirements
  • Meet the required revenue and margin targets to ensure the contract is successful
  • Manage the ongoing bookings, liaise with the QA internal Managed Learning Services team for the production of reports and quality of the booking and invoicing process
  • Manage the review process and MI reports, ensuring all booking are right first time and invoicing accurate
  • Win over new stakeholders gaining revenue direct with departments, providing new bespoke training solutions through different delivery methods, with particular focus on digital learning
  • Expand the revenue opportunities and services though digital content/bespoke solutions/introduction of new services - including Cloud Academy, QAC and QAA
  • Continuous service improvement plans and increasing the solutions and revenue across a global platform


  • Good understanding and experience of the IT and PD training market place
  • Up to date knowledge of the IT market place
  • Proven track record in selling training solutions and capacity to sell solutions over £250k in value
  • Ability to work at senior level to understand requirements and develop solutions
  • Good commercial experience to work with cost models, margin calculations and commercial contracts
  • Ability to present to senior management within the customer
  • Credibility to be able to discuss the value of investment in training services
  • Ability to construction, document and present solutions
  • Ability to manage an end to end delivery of services
  • Maintain quality and run a continuous service improvement plan
  • Ability to write comprehensive proposals
  • Ability to investigate and learn about new technology and services
  • Liaise and negotiate with third party suppliers for best service and higher discounts
  • Passion for great customer service and building long term relationships
  • Ability to work independently and manage day to day activities and opportunities
