Sales Executive - Seperation & Purification Sciences Division

I am looking for an experienced Sales Executive, a field-based role, you will be joining my clients leading global manufacturing organisation, working within their Northern European, Separation and Purification Division.
Tasked with selling a wide portfolio of purification systems to reduce and remove contaminants from manufacturing streams, you will be tasked with maintaining existing business and generating growth primarily within allocated manufacturing accounts.
Key market sectors and job functions within this role include the purification of Biopharma and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) manufacturing streams in order to assist in purifying end products and supporting the supply of filtration technologies to the food and beverage, medical devices and industrial markets.
Key Job Responsibilities;
*Manage and retain existing key account end user customers to achieve the territory sales targets.
*Identify and contact new business opportunities to grow the territory in line with sales
*To develop close working relationships with our distributors and build on agreed business plans, promotional activities, joint working and end user support
*To manage the margin and pricing requirements of the territory in line with the business expectations
*Feedback on competitor activities within the marketplace
*Record all relevant customer activities
*Support marketing activities and NPI in line with launch targets
Skills, experience and key capabilities;
*Sales experience preferably in a Technical Sales role with a track record of success in winning and retaining business
*Experience of selling in Medical and/or Pharma manufacturing markets preferred but not essential
*Detailed knowledge of the biopharma/pharmaceutical manufacturing industry and closely aligned markets
*Ambitious and driven
*Strong communication and presentation skills
*IT literate and competent with the Microsoft office package and SalesForce
*Competitive & Proactive instinct - takes initiative on issues and challenges to find optimum solutions.
*Bachelor's or master's degree in a science or engineering discipline highly desirable
