We now have an exciting opportunity to join one of the South West's leading employers as a Leakage Detection Manager to join our team, covering our East operational area.
[b]What will you be doing?[/b]
As a Leakage Detection Manager, you will mitigate the impact of the natural rate of rise of leakage within the DMA estate across the SWW operating region. The role will be responsible for leading a team of Leakage Managers and Technicians in the delivery of over 25 Mld of water savings on an annual basis across the operating region.
The Leakage Detection Manager will ensure leakage delivery is aligned to the companies' leakage strategy and long-term vision and goals for leakage and demand management. The role will involve a high degree of contract/supplier management to ensure implementation of resources, equipment, materials and techniques are cost effective and productive.
The role will demand strong working relationships with the network services alliance team to ensure the promotion, prioritisation and repair of detected leaks is optimised to achieve leakage and demand related savings.
[b]You will be required to take part in the Operations Duty Functional Manager Standby Rotation.[/b]
[b]What do you need?[/b]
*Good understanding of leak detection and repair techniques on water networks *Knowledgeable of techniques used to identify, pinpoint and repair leakage on customer supply pipes *An accomplished manager with a track record of delivering objectives to time, cost and quality measures *Wide reaching knowledge of leakage including understanding of the water balance, economic assessments, industry best practice, reporting guidelines and key industry stakeholders *Excellent working knowledge of water distribution systems & operational practices *Adaptable planning skills to ensure resources are managed effectively to deliver efficient outcomes *Able to cope with pressurised environments *IOSH, Health & Safety Qualifications would be beneficial *Full UK Driving Licence

In return for your hard work as our Leakage Detection Manager, we can offer a salary of [b]£40,000 - £45,000 per annum dependent on skills and experience[/b].
